"Hi! My name is Yessenia and I'm here with my mother Sanjuana. On behalf of Expert Village, we're going to show you how to make authentic Mexican tamales. Like we told you in the beginning, you can use the steamer or you can use a pot like this one, which is a thicker kind. If you use something like this, you would need to put in the very bottom of the pot enough cornhusks to cover the bottom completely. Then once you've done that, you would start putting in your tamales. If you use a steamer, you wouldn't need to put the cornhusks on the bottom layer. You would just use the steamer and put water underneath the steamer. For this occasion, we're going to use the cornhusk on the bottom and we're going to start putting the tamales. You lay them flat until you fill a whole row full of tamales. Would you put tamales here also? In the edges. You put them in a row like how they are and in the next one, you're going to put them to the other side. You would them in a crisscross position. First, you would put them horizontally and then you can put them vertically, filling all the gaps. Filling all the gaps until you fill up your pot."
