"Hi! My name is Yessenia and I'm here with my mother Sanjuana. On behalf of Expert Village, we are going to show you how to make authentic Mexican tamales. Here we have all of our ingredients that you use. The main ingredient that you're going to use is the masa mix. You're going to be using some oil. You can use corn oil or vegetable oil. We have salt, garlic powder, and chili powder. We also will need authentic cornhusks, which you can find nowadays in many super markets. We'll need some water, so we'll be getting some water. We're going to be doing some chicken tamales today. This chicken has already been mixed in. This is just a small portion of what we would actually use. You can actually buy chicken as you'd like it. You can get a whole chicken. You can use the legs, the thighs. Any part of the chicken meat that you prefer, you can purchase and use it for the tamales. It's up to your preference. That's all of our ingredients. Now we're going to look to how you actually start preparing the tamales."
