"Since the rice is going to take considerably longer than the chicken, we're going to start off by preparing that. First thing we're going to want to do is turn the oven on, and we're going to set it for 350. The oven will generally take about 10 to 15 minutes to heat up to that temperature. So while we're doing that, we're going to begin cooking the rice. We're going to take one cup of rice, and we're going to mix that -- we're going to put it in the pot, and we're going to mix that with two cups of water. And generally, when you are cooking rice, you're going to want a two-to-one ratio of liquid to rice. So whether you're using veggie stock or rice or something -- or water or something else. We're going to turn this up a little bit more than halfway because what we're going to want to do is bring this rice to a boil, and then we're going to turn it down and let it simmer."
