"Hello! My name is Melissa and on behalf of Expert Village, today I'm going to teach you how to make a very, easy, fast rice dish that is full of lots of flavor. In our first clip, let's talk about the ingredients. What you'll notice here is that a lot of the stuff you'll either have in your kitchen cupboard already or your refrigerator. You probably will have it as a staple in your kitchen already. The good thing about this is the oven does most of the work. This really will take you 5 to 10 minutes prep time. Put it in the oven for an hour, come back, and you've got a great portion of your meal. At the end of this segment, at the 5th and final clip, I'll show you another quick way to do vegetables that can compliment this rice. I always like this as a staple to go with chicken, to go with your meat, to go with just about anything. You can go wrong with rice. With rice, what I find is a lot of people make it and it doesn't have any flavor. You have the white rice. It just lacks flavor, so I'm going to teach you a really quick way to do this just using a bit of celery, some onion, Lipton onion, some oil, and of course some rice. The rice I like to use is parboiled rice. I like to use brown rice. It's entirely up to you, but I find the parboiled works the best."
