" One of our traditional dessert is the pancake. It is very popular in Hungary. We eat it both with sweet and salty filling. We fry it simply or with bread crumbs. The recipe of the pancake pasta for four people are the following: we mix half of kilo of flour, with the yolk of one egg, we pour half a liter of sparkling water on it, we can put a little bit more water as well. It has to be liquid but thick. We season it with a pinch of salt. The most important thing is that the pasta has to be thick but not to thick liquid. We prepare the pancake in the following way: we put sunflower oil into a pan; we put the pan on the fire. It is important that we heat it until the oil is hot. We put one ladle of pancake pasta into the oil and we spread it everywhere in the pan. We wait until one side gets ready, then we lift the pan and turn the pancake; then we fry the other side as well."
