"Hi, my name Sheryl McGlochlin with expertvillage.com. Today we are talking about making a really delicous black bean salsa. We have talked about buying in bulk, we have talked about storing the beans and now we want to make a batch of the black bean. Now actually we are going to do a different bean but the next thing you have to do is once it comes out of storage this is basically what a bean looks like. This happens to be a pinto bean but black beans are pretty much the same way they are just hard little beans here. They need to be soaked so I'm going to take this batch of pinto or it could be black beans and you just dump it in to a big bowl. Then I'm going to take a whole bunch of water and I'm going to make sure that the water completely covers all of the beans. I'm going to leave it this way for about 8 hours or you can put it on just before you go to bed at night and just let them soak over night. Then the next stage is going to be cooking. But all we use is a bowl and some raw beans and water. The next stage that we are going to do is how to cook the beans. "
