"Hi, my name is Sheryl McGlochlin with crazysheryl.com and welcome to expertvillage.com. Today we are making 3 kind of hot cereal, actually 4 kinds but this is kind of a critical part in the brown rice. I'm cooking it in a pressure cooker I put 1 1/2 cups of water and a teaspoon of salt. Let it come to a boil, add the brown rice and if you can see carefully there is a red ring and it is starting to show a second red ring. I turned off the burner as soon as it is starting to hit that first red ring. It would start to make a little bit of a sound and since I'm trying to keep it on the first red ring I?m actually going to take it off the burner. Then I'm going to set my timer for 25 minutes. Once it comes to this red ring I take it off the burner I can leave the room and it would be done in 25 minutes. It would be delicious, hot, brown rice. That is how you make 3 out of the 4 hot cereals that we have done so far."
