"Hi, my name is Sheryl McGlochlin with crazysheryl.com and welcome to expertvillage.com. Today we are making a variety of hot cereals. In the winter it taste especially great. Now we have just made some 7 rolled grain mixed. We let it boil and now we put our cereal in and let the water boil, now we put the cereal in. Now it is still runny, like a little bit is still to runny. You can just turn the burner on and you kind of need to stir occasionally. Lots of time I make a bigger batch and then you can store in the refrigerator and just pull it out and microwave it. So you just spend a few minutes on it but we are making the cracked wheat. I'm using 3 cups of water and one cup of cracked wheat. I keep them in little bags like this so I don't have to go measuring them out of a big container. Before I add this cracked wheat we are going to add about 1 teaspoon of salt and I'm going to stir that around. I'm just going to turn off the crack wheat cereal, I'm stirring that salt around. The 7 grain rolled is on the back and let me go ahead and put this in a little bag. Now that this water is boiling we just going to go ahead and dump it from the bag into the water. We would stir it around and we would just turn off the heat and that is how we make cracked wheat."
