"Hi! I'm Chef Rainer Wickel and I am here today with expertvillage.com. Well we are done with these. We've made some German potato pancakes and believe me, these are delicious. Now remember I was telling you when you cook these, you need to serve these directly out of the pan. These things taste the best when they are still hot so this isn't something that you really can wait to serve. They need to be served pretty much instantly out of the pan. Now if you go to a restaurant, traditionally these will be served with something sweet like Apple Sauce, Cranberry Sauce is usually something that is served with Potato Pancakes. But it is also a side dish for many traditional German dishes. You could serve these with Bockwurst Weiner Schnitzels. This is just a really good potato dish that compliments any type of meal. Now in Germany, these are extremely popular especially if you go to something like a beer fest. There are three things they are going to serve there for you. They are going to serve beer of course, Bockwurst and German Potato Pancakes and these you are going to find all over Germany. This is something that Germans absolutely adore. I hope you had fun today and go ahead and try to makes these yourself because believe me, these will be a real hit for your family and this is how we serve German Potato Pancakes."
