"Hi, this is Richard Buccola in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make some spaghetti with clam sauce. Alright with this spaghetti you want it al dente, also again it will tell you how it is to be served whatever it is. If it tells you 9 minutes you go 8 minutes. This one says 9 minutes boiling water. Before we do that though I like to put a little bit of salt and a little bit of olive oil in my water and if it is hot make sure you have that cover. You get a mitt so you don't burn yourself. Now I got a rolling boiling water there, it is a rolling boil. I'm going to add a little bit of this olive oil, a little splash and some salt and I'm going to get my pasta in there. I'm going to keep my clock going for about 8 minutes, 8 minutes I will know it is done. Don't forget I'm going to be adding this into the clams and by cooking it a little under it gives it that al dente taste and a little firmness. But we would cook this a little bit in the clam sauce as well. So adding my pasta I'm just going to get my pasta right here and I'm going to get that right into my spaghetti. My spaghetti, my linguine just like so. Be careful don't burn yourself, you can get it all in. When we come back we are starting to make this spaghetti with calm sauce here at Expert Village."
