"Hi! This is Rich Buccola of New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make coconut shrimp with orange marmalade dipping sauce. Let's go over the ingredients. The main ingredient is going to be our beautiful fresh shrimp. He is the man today. I've got 12 of them. I'm going to do a dozen. That should 3-4 people. Nice appetizers. Let's do the ingredients for the batter. Of course, you're going to have your coconut. That's a cup of coconut. That will be on the side in one plate. Get yourself some nice freshly shaved coconut. The second thing now is our batter. We're going to put all of our ingredients in a batter. You're going to have one egg. You're going to have one egg and 2/3 of a cup of beer. You're going to have one tablespoon of baking powder. Don't forget to get a good beer. The better the beer, the better your coconut shrimp is going to be. Last but not least, you're going to need flour. You're going to need about half a cup. Half a cup of flour should be fine. Also, you're going to get yourself a lemon. Lemon to garnish the plate and making it look pretty. I think I said oil. 3 cups of oil for frying in your frying pan. When I come back, I'll show you the hardware.
