"Hi, I'm chef Rainer Wickel I'm here today with expertvillage.com. Well our sauce is ready it's a nice thick consistency and now I need to tell you how we actually serve bananas foster. Now it's quite an involved thing to actually make this particular dish but it is a lot of fun to make, just for the fact that we do light it on fire, and it's kind of showy. But the way it is traditional served is go ahead and put the bananas onto your serving plate and remember we fried these so they have a nice glaze over them and then you put a nice big scoop of vanilla ice cream over the top. Now this can also be served with the bananas and waffles but traditionally this is going to be the way to serve. So now that we have the ice cream and the bananas here go ahead and stir the sauce through. Make sure it's nice and thick and as you can see it's got a nice thick consistency to it so now that we need to do is just go ahead and put it over the top of the ice cream and the bananas. Put it nice and liberally on there and now it's going to blend in with all that nice mixture of the rum and the sugar and all the spices and it gives it a really unique flavor, and this is how we server bananas foster."
