"Hi! I'm Chef Rainer Wickel and I am here today with expertvillage.com. Well we are on to our next step. We've put 2 tablespoons of butter into our skillet and we just have it at about low heat. We just wanted it enough so that the butter melts and as you can see, the butter is already melted. Now we need to put in the brown sugar, the all spice and the cinnamon. What we are going to do is take a quarter cup of brown sugar and put it into the butter mixture, then we are going to take a quarter teaspoon of all spice and once again, this measurement doesn't have to be exact. Just go ahead and put it in there and then a half a teaspoon of Nutmeg. What this is going to do is give it this really nice flavor. Now what we want to do here is we just want to mix all this well together with the butter and you just want to mix it good enough so that the brown sugar, the all spice and nutmeg melts. What this is going to do is provide the glaze that we are actually going to use to put over the bananas. So just go ahead and mix that through. Once again, we are just going to let this cook until the sugar is nicely melted. We just want to have a nice glaze on there. We are going to have to let this sit and probably let it cook for about a minute until everything is melted but this is how we add the sugar and the spices into our butter mixture to get ready to make bananas foster.
