"The next penalty we're going to show you is usually caused after a potential hook, is diving. Now diving is when you fall to the ice to try to give your team a power play, to try to look like you got hooked or tripped or something. But it's basically an act and so we're going to show some different examples of diving. The most common one is when a player is almost hooking you, just fall on the ice. If you're not actually getting hooked and the referee sees it you're going to get called for it. Also, someone has their blade near your feet and you trip, that could get called for diving. And another way you could get called for diving is if you?re just in a little altercation, a little shoving match and i kind of push him and he just falls. And that is diving."
