"Hello, my name is Melissa and on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to teach you how to make the best ever banana muffins. In this clip now let's first start off preparing our dry ingredients. Very important. What we are going to work with here is our baking powder, our salt, our baking soda and the flour for now. I know sugar is a dry ingredient but we'll get to that later and we'll use our egg and our butter later as well and of course our bananas. But in the clip we're just going to focus on the dry ingredients. So let's start off with the flour. What we need with the flour is one and a half cups of flour. Now what I like to do is always use a knife and use the straight edge of the knive. So whenever you're measuring things, especially with dry ingredients, I like to over flow it and then just use that sharp edge, the straight edge of the knife so I get a nice even one cup. So, one cup of flour we said and we need another half cup in there too. So, one and a half cups of flour. Put that into there and then you just need, if we grab our salt, we need a half a teaspoon of salt. Salt is sometimes messy so what I tend to do is put it into the little half teaspoon here over the sink and again, I know I waste just a little bit but you don't want to have too much salt. So, put that into there and then we will take our one teaspoon and we'll do the same for the baking powder and also the baking soda. So, we need one teaspoon of each here. What you'll notice, going through each of these clips is if you do this at home, you'll notice this does not take a long time to make at all. These are very quick and easy and efficient. So we'll put in one teaspoon of baking powder and finally one teaspoon of the baking soda. And these really truly are the best ever banana muffins but they are so easy and quick to make. I like to, I make multiple batches and we'll talk about that in the next clip. On how to make it more efficient for yourself. So take those dry ingredients and mix those three, especially the baking powder, the salt and the baking soda into the flour. Just give it a nice even stir right up in there and in our next clip we'll talk about making multiple batches, how to prepare those dry ingredients."
