"Getting on top of the foam pile can be tricky in some holes. What you do to get on top, the easiest way in a hole is work your way to either end, use that spin corner to spin you on into the middle of the hole. Another way to do this is to also blast, front surf your way over to the corner of the hole, front surf your way back onto the hole. A third way would be to initiate a strong edge and balance yourself up on top of the foam pile by digging in your downstream edge. So by raising a lot of edge, you get a lot of bounce. The other two ways, work your way to the side where the hole’s a little weaker and you’ll be able to slide back on that weaker current and then slide to the middle where the current is going to pull you back in.
