"The cross bow pirouette is a move in which you start off like and ender. You go straight into the hole, pop straight up, but instead of just coming straight up and down, you're going to rotate your boat on its axis. In order to get the boat to spin when it's vertical, you're going to take a stroke out. It reaches across your bow and pulls your boat around. When I'm up in the air and I'm vertical, you're going to be looking for me to do a nice full spin. The initiation again, is similar to looping. You start straight in, then pull the boat in a circle with the cross bow stroke. You're also going to initiate a little bit sooner than you would for looping. Right as the bow hits the water, reach across your boat, look into the direction of your turn, and spin it completely around."
