"Hey guys! This is Danny Logan and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to talk about indoor rock climbing. Okay, in this scene, I'll be explaining more of the rating systems they have for climbing for bouldering. In bouldering, they use the V scale. The V scale comprises of V0, V1, V2, V3, all the way up to about V15 or V16 (if you are that good). A V1, V0 is compared to about a 5.10 or 5.11 as we progress. There are pluses and minuses on each V scale. So, there is a V1 and it starts with two tapes that are green. So your next move...you start with both hands on here and your feet on the wall somewhere where there's a green tape. Your next move would be here with the green tape. You would go to here and all the way up to the top to where it finishes with two green tapes. Okay, another type of bouldering is called traversing. Traversing is when we use, we literally walk across the wall to kind of warm up. A lot of people do it for endurance training and warming up just before you start doing these really hard, difficult moves. Many walls have them. Like for instance, right here, this is a traverse. Start here, and it has a yin/yang symbol. So we put here, any feet, and we just go into the next one, all the way across the whole room. This is like a beginning warm up. "
