"Hi I'm Rachel Dayan for Expert Village now I'm going to show you how to bake the pita bread after 1/2 an hour we take the cover off you can see that the rise I have here another bread that I just made just to show you the difference. This is flat this rise nicely and it's ready to be baked we heat the oven to 500 Fahrenheit you put it in the oven on the lowest rack. This baking is going it's a very quick baking between to 5 to 7 minutes, bake because the oven is on a very high heat 500 and the pita bread if course is a small so it doesn't take to long to be cooked. I'm going to take the pitas out now you can see that there slightly brown on the other side, I'm going to show you, you don't want to over bake them. That's how they should look, I want to show you how it open up to a nice little pocket, you cut it almost half way down and you open it. It's still a bit hot open it and you can see it has you can see that it has a nice little pocket here."
