"Hi this is Matt on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to make Mediterranean veggie kabobs. O'kay so now we are going to work on our eggplant, this big monster over here. We are going to cut our ends off. Actually this end is o'kay, it's just the end with the stalk we don't want. Now we're going to do the same with he squash. We're going to peel it, but very gently because we want to save our eggplant. So you see how we're getting these really thin pieces here, we definitely are saving our eggplant and it definitely does not want to end up in the garbage. We definitely do not want to do that. Almost done. One or two more to go here. There you go. And here is our eggplant. We do cut the end off here. O'kay so now we have our eggplant and we're going to cut this lengthwise here with the squash and let's just work on one piece for now. This is big. Depending on how much you are going to make is how much of the fruit or vegetable you are going to use. I am only going to make four so this tutorial so I'm not going to use all of that. I'm going to put this right here. I'm going to cut it. Slice again and now we're making three pieces right here and then we're just going to cut the little pieces that are going on the skewer. Perfect. Separate these from the squash. These are perfect and we're going to stick the skewer right through there and that's perfect. The skewer goes right through, perfect. Looks like little pieces of pizza, eggplant pizza. There you have it. This is pretty cool because you can use all the pieces of it because it's big, not like the squash. Do it however you want to you can put it that way; you can put the skewer this way. These are great right here, perfect sizes. So I'm going to finish this up and then we're going to work on our mushrooms."
