"Hi this is Matt on behalf of Expert Village and today we are going to learn how to make a Mediterranean vegetable kabob. We are going to cut the center out of the red pepper, I like to get rid of the stalk first. Let's take the stalk out and put that in our waste bowl there. We are going to cut it lengthwise. Take the seeds out and put it in the waste bowl. Do that with the other half also. Get all the seeds out and the bristle. Now let's cut this like that and then I am going to cut it again like so. With half a pepper we can make four long slices just like that. Now we are going to cut each slice in half. These are the pieces that are going to go on our skewer. Let's put that away. These are the pieces that the actual skewer is going to go through. Just like so, that big. Cut that down. Now let's work on the other half. The same thing. We're going to cut it one, two, three, and now we have four slices here. We are going to cut those in half and put them in the bowl. There you go. Now we can do the same thing with our other pepper, our orange pepper. Get the stalk out of the middle into our waste plate. You want to get rid of all the garbage that is inside here, the gristle, seeds. Let's do the one and the other, get the seeds out of here. Now the same difference we're going to cut one, two, three, and then we're going to cut these in half and these are the pieces that are going to go on our kabob."
