"Again a lot like the fufanu that I just showed you, I'm going to demonstrate an Abubaca on a wedged ramp that's considerably more flat than it should be for learning the trick. A wedge ramp is usually the best thing to learn it on, just like a fufanu, but again like a fufanu it's going to make it more difficult for you to gauge your speed and also having something flat with an Abubaca is going to make more difficult to generate backward speed for your good roll back and your good solid fakey. So on something flat like that it's especially important that you get a good solid spring back because that will generate the momentum that you need for the fakey. So time to demonstrate this now, it's usually a little bit easier to place your back wheel because your looking straight down, stall and press back out like that. So basically, you want to make sure that your back wheel is roughly on the corner. If your first learning then it's not the most important thing, but once you start trying to do them on more difficult things, having that good back wheel placement is really going to be pretty important. So like you saw, I kept my front end up pretty high because that will allow me to when I jump back to get my front wheel clear of the obstacle that my back wheel is on. I got a good solid pull back, which generated that momentum that I needed to ride out on that fakey and then I made sure to stay loose when I landed, which is always important when doing a fakey. I also stayed centered right over my cranks and that allowed me to have a nice controllable roll back. So basically, it takes a little bit of practice, little bit of commitment and usually a pretty good set of brakes, but it's really fun tricking. Once you learn it, you could do it on all kinds of different obstacles."
