"In this clip, we're going to practice Sut Kriya, which is actually part of the complete kriya, Surya Kriya. So, this is the mudra we're going to use. We're interlacing the hands with the index fingers pointing up. For women, the left thumb is over the right. For men, it's the opposite. Bring your arms up over your head. We're going to use the mantra sut-nam. Sut rhymes with but, nam rhymes with mom. It means truth identified, or truth named. As we chant sut, we're going to pull the navel point in, and as we chant nam, we're going to release it, and the breath will take care of itself. Do this for three minutes. In this kriya, you actually do this exercise twice, with a rest in between. Sut-nam. Sut-nam. Sut-nam. Sut-nam. Sut-nam. Sut-nam. Sut-nam. To end sut kriya, inhale deeply, pull the root lock, the mullah bandha, squeeze it up and powerfully exhale through the crown, and relax."
