"Hi! I’m Angela, and right now I’m going to demonstrate how to stretch your hamstrings and buttocks area. You want to have floor mat, a soft surface, and you want to lay down. You want to have your arm off to the side. The leg that you’re lifting up is the same arm you’re going to have off to the side. You’re slowly going lift it up and have it aligned with the hip area. You slowly want to pull on it, but not too much though to strain the muscle, just enough to feel a stretch. Right here is where you should feel the stretch. If you feel pain anywhere else, you want to stop immediately. You want to hold this for about 15-30 seconds. This arm over here keeps you stabilized so that you’re not completely over to one side. The weight of if keeps you somewhat straight."
