"Hi! I’m Angela on behalf of expertvillage.com, and right now I’m going to show you how to stretch the tricep muscle. It’s extremely important that you do this when you’re weightlifting, because you want to reduce the risk of tear. Every time you weight lift, you do tear the muscle and you need time to repair it. Stretching this muscle will reduce the amount of tear. You want to have very good posture; straight back, you don’t want to be slouched. What you’re going to do is lift up both your arms and then twist them so that both the palms are touching. Then, you want to reach upward, and then back slightly. You don’t want to hyper-extend this because you’ll end up bending your back, which ruins your posture. It’s a very simple stretch but extremely important. You want to hold this for about 15-25 second. You’ll feel the stretch immediately right here. If ever you feel pain in any part of your arm you want to stop immediately. "
