"The next item for our backyard barbecue is going to be a pasta salad, but it is not your traditional mayonnaise based pasta salad. This one is going to be a vinegar based, vinaigrette, rather than heavy dressing, and we are going to use a different kind of pasta. Not elbow, macaroni, or anything like that. We are going to use Orzo. Now it looks like rice right now, but when you boil it you see that it is clearly pasta. And actually Orzo means "barley" in Italian. So, you cook it the way you would cook regular pasta. So, I just boiled that one up. Again, you know when it is done just like regular pasta I find the best way, no matter how much I time it, is the only way to know is until I bite into it. So, I am going to drain all that. And a word of caution with Orzo (let that drain), you think it is not going to make a lot because it is sold in small packages, but it really expands. So, I'm going to let that drain. So, I'll work on the vinaigrette."
