"So, I just brought all of those ingredients up to a boil and I'm going to reduce it to a simmer. Let it simmer for about 35 minutes. I know it seems like a lot of water we added in and this doesn't look much like barbecue sauce, yet does it. Well. It will reduce quite a bit. I'll let that go. Now, afterwards you want to cool the whole thing down and refrigerate it overnight because the flavors are really going to come out that way. And you will see this one I made last night. See how thick it gets. Gorgeous and it smells fantastic! So, with this I'm going to marinate this amount once it is reduced down. Take three-quarters of it. Depending on how big your batch is. I might even go a little bit more than three-quarters. Use that to marinate, again overnight the chicken that your going to use for the barbecue so that then not only have the flavors come together in the sauce, it's going to be together with the chicken, as well, and be really flavorful on he grill. So, marinate that, three-quarters of it or more and keep some on the side for basting. So you can brush it right on the grill to get extra flavor and you can use this as a dipping sauce, too, because it won't be contaminated with the chicken juices. So, let's take that pre-marinated chicken and go to the grill."
