"So these are called flourishes just like the flag these look prettier and you want to do the same thing and kind of flow it and make it look cute and flowery. So you are going to put your right hand at the neck, palm facing up, left hand at the nose, palm facing down, you are going to pivot your feet, start at the left first. You are going to push your left hand down at the side, you are going to extend your right hand and bring it so the nose is down and out for 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and you just want to kind of bring it back to where you started. So it is all in the wrist when you do it just keep rotating your wrist you want to stretch it out before you start and just keep your arm as straight as you can and just bring it back to where you started. Same thing on the right side bring it out, you want to start on this side on your left side, so start off with the nose going down, back up, down, back up, and keep your arm wrist as straight as you can and you just want to flowing it at your wrist. So 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and those are flourishes. "

on 2/22/2009 This is really tough! Anyway, should you try not to move your arm too much and keep you fingers in a sort of pinch grip? I find my arms move side to side, but then again, I'm really new to this. (I'm not even on the rifle line, I just want to learn it)
