"Hi, I'm Suzanne Von Schaack with Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you a couple combinations on what you can do if you are either a drum major or a twirler in the band while you're marching in the marching band. Besides marching, either this or leading the band like this, as the music is playing, after you've got the band going and you've given the instruction to play, you could be marching along and doing moves like this. It's a very simple move. Just taking the toe of the baton, and taking it, and putting behind your back catching it, side to side. It looks like you're doing something really extravagant, but basically you're just marching and tossing. Then there's another little thing you do after that, a combination. When you take the baton and you go, left-right, left-right, left-right, left-right. Pass it behind your back, pass it behind your back, pass it behind your back, pass it behind your back. And then you bring your baton up, and you continue marching. Those are a couple of little tricks you could do while you're marching with the band. "
