"Hi. I'm Suzanne Von Schaack with Expert Village. Today I'm going to teach you how to do a hand to hand. Begin with the baton centered in your hand over the middle of the baton. The head to the left, the toe to the right. Now, turn the head up and over. You're going to take your left hand and push it to catch it into your left hand. Then you take your right hand again, put it on top of the baton. Turn the head over with the toe up. Take your left hand, push it over your thumb, catch it. Now the right hand goes there. Let me show you from the back side so you can see a little bit better how the hands work. Take the right hand, toe, head down, toe up, push over the thumb, catch. The right hand goes over the top. Turn again, push. Just keep the whole thing going. As you learn to push, go back to grab with the right. Eventually what will happen is you'll get so good at this you won't have to push anymore. You'll just let it roll right off the thumb and catch it in between your thumb and your forefinger. Let me show you again. Turn, head down, toe up, push, catch between the thumb and the forefinger. The right hand goes on the top, turn, push, goes between the thumb and the forefinger. As you begin to twirl, you'll just get confident enough to let it drop into your hand. This is the hand to hand."
