"I'm Mandy Butler on behalf of Expert Village and we're going to talk about tumble track warm ups today. Now I'm going to teach you the round off from the knee. This is the same concept as the cartwheel from the knee, but of course in a round off, you get your feet together in the air and snap your legs down. I'm going to end my round off in a rebound, which is just a straight jump at the end. I'll show you again. Here's a straight jump at the end. The reason for that is that's the spot you would put a back handspring, a tuck, a layout if you round off layouts. If you ever get to that point, you want to be able to be used to be having something after your round off. If you teach yourself just to round off into the ground, you're not going to have the push from your feet you need to turn that straight jump into a higher skill. This is the round off from the knee. I'm going to put my cartwheel, or round off leg, front. My back leg is the same as it was in the cartwheel from the knee position. Remember, when I do a round off, as I've said before, a lot of people think your legs come together as you're landing. They don’t. They come together in the air and you snap them down together. I'm going to put my arms nice and tight above my head and I'm going to drive with my back leg just as I did the cartwheel. This is the round off from the knee ending in a rebound."
