Video Transcript

" So the next pose is a reclining twist. So you’ll want to start with your knees pulled into your chest, tuck your chin into your chest, and roll down onto your back and take your arms out into a “T” or cactus shape, bending at the elbows. And with the feet, hip width apart, take your right foot and cross your right foot over your left knee and then very smoothly let the legs come over to the side. So that your right foot is resting on the floor, and you can arrange your shoulder blades so that you’re comfortable on the floor. And this pose, some people like to just have their gaze neutral so you’re looking toward the ceiling with relaxed eyes or your eyes closed and some people like to turn and look away from their knees. It really feels different for each person’s neck, so you’ll want to see what feels the most effortless here. This is a pose that doesn’t take any muscular energy so you’ll can just relax and enjoy as this stretches out the outer edges of your hips and increases your digestive fire and tones your spine. When you’re ready to come out of this, you’ll smoothly bring your legs back to center and change sides. You can do this pose up to five minutes on each side. "
