Video Transcript

" Between sides of triangle you can also take wide legged forward bend. Wide legged forward bend you start with a comfortable straddle distance apart for your feet, the outer edges of your feet parallel to the outer ledges of your yoga mat. Lifting the toes, spreading the toes, and pressing the soles of your feet down into the floor, you can either keep the toes lifted here or you can set them down. And, this again is a pose you can do with straight legs or slightly bent knees. Taking the hands to the hips, inhaling to lift the heart and then smoothly, slowly folding at the hip crease and lowering down into wide legged forward fold. For some people it’s very easy to have the hands hit the floor, maybe even elbows will come down. And for some of us it’s helpful to have a block, you can take this pose with a flat back or we can release all the way down to the floor to come back up, we want to walk to finger tips forward. Come half way up, shift your weight back into your heals so that you can take your hands off of the floor, bending the knees, leading with the heart and coming back up to stand. Then, as lightly as possible, step your feet back to hip with the part or make your way to the other side of triangle pose. "
