Video Transcript

" Warrior one pose is a very familiar pose for those people who practice yoga. You’re going to want to start by stepping one foot forward and the other foot back on your mat. And you want to angle your back foot in at least thirty degrees, lining up your front heel to your back arch or your back heel, depending on what feels better for your body. And stepping the back foot in closely enough that both hip points can face forward so that your hips, your front knee and your toes are all pointing the same direction, and then brining your hands to your hips, lifting up through the heart. As you're ready, pressing down to the floor through the soles of the feet, bending the front knee until it comes right over the front ankle, and then keeping the heart lifting, keeping your arms up, along side your ears, spreading the fingers of your hands, and continually pressing through the soles of your feet, lifting the heart, and as much as it’s comfortable for you, tilting the chin up. And then to come out, directing your gaze back down in front of you, bringing your arms down, straightening your front leg, stepping the back foot up and then stepping the opposite foot back from the other side.
