Video Transcript

"My name is Glen. You just saw a little fun intro to get ready for the game something that this team does in their pre-game warm-up and it ends up in a stretch and stretching is important. Whether it is physically important for all the age groups or not, it is still a good habit to get involved in. The kind of stretch that we are doing now is a static stretch; nobody is bouncing. We are just kind of letting pressure beyond the muscles to stretch them out slowly. You want to hold stretches for at least 30 seconds. When you are doing this stretch, it is good to kind of fix yourself on a point on the ground and if you are having trouble with the balance, you might, once you two come together, you might use each other to balance on. Also once again, stretching the big muscles in the leg to play the big game. You want to make sure you are a little bit warmed up before you stretch. You don't want to stretch a cold muscle. You can injure yourself that way as well. "
