"Now we're into Wednesday. Hump Day. Big day in the coaching world. Wednesday's going to be pretty similar to Tuesday. You'll have your staff meeting in the morning. Head coach will break you off in your units and this is where you'll kind of tweak the game plan see how things went from the previous practice if you like things, if you don't like things, you'll maybe pad or take out. But this is really a big day as far as for the coaching staff because after today the game plan is going to be pretty much it. So Wednesday you'll meet as a staff, usually have your lunch break around noon. From that the players will be in and out watching game film. Your good ones will come in obviously voluntarily and they'll watch they?ll study as much as they possibly can. You'll come in about 2:00 with your position meeting, which will last about 45 minutes to an hour. Again you'll beat down, hammer the game film, tell the kids exactly what they expect from their opponents. Any last minute questions see what the kids like, what they don't like. Get their feedback. From there we'll go into another full padded practice, which will be probably the last hard practice of the week. And again consistent offense, defense, special teams about two and a half hours to three hours. Once that's done again coaches will come in with the players weight training table. Players, maybe some will stay around watch more film. If not they are out of there. We go in , watch practice, say things we like, what we don't like, tweak the game plan and again beat down the phones, get on the phones with those recruits, try to convince those guys to come to whatever school or university you're at. Once that's done, try to get home, see your family and get back in ready for the next day."
