"Okay, the next drill we will be discussing is the "lob pass" and this pass is necessary when you have a post up player, be it a center or a forward or anybody up under the basket that is calling for the ball and you are out around the parameter and this lob pass is to get the ball over the defenders head and to your teammate, okay. So since we do not have a teammate here, I am just demonstrating by showing you the pass, okay it is a simple pass, you bring the ball up over your head and you put it up high and to the inside of the paint area and this is the lob pass, okay. So you bring the ball up high and you put it inside, okay. Just remember to keep the ball high and throw it over the defenders head and to your teammate, okay this is the lob pass. It is also good for moving the ball up court, like if you are on a fast break and you want to get it down court real fast, you want to do the lob pass."
