"Hi, my name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village, and in this segment, I'm going to teach you how to be a switch hitter. In this segment, I'm going to teach you when it is appropriate to bat right-handed. Now, normally in baseball, the best way, if you're a switch hitter, to bat right-handed, whenever you face a left-handed pitcher. Now, it improves your percentages as a hitter to go against a lefty where the arm angle is going towards the plate where it's easier to hit the ball, as opposed, if you being a left-handed batter, against a left-handed pitcher. So, whenever you want to switch hit, whenever you're in a switch hitting position, want to bat right-handed definitely against a left-handed pitcher."
