Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to teach you how to be a switch hitter. In this segment we're going to talk about point of contact from the left side and it's very important just like on the right side the point of contact is still in front of the batter. As you come through, the zone point of contact is right out in front. You want to have the hands extended. The bat make sure the part of the bat is more towards the sweet spot and not on the edge where you might tip it fowl or to close to where you might only get an ineffective hit. Definitely if you want an effective solid hit, you want the ball in front of you and you want the middle part of the bat to make contact with the ball."
