Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to teach you how to be a switch hitter. In this segment we're going to teach you how to hold the bat from the right side of the plate. Now like the left side, your control hand will be the opposite hand from this side and it will be your left hand. Your power hand will be the one above it and it will be your right hand holding the knuckles aligned. You definitely want to hold the bat the same way you did on the left side bringing the bat head up at an angle keeping the elbows in an A frame. The higher you hold the bat the better it is to make sure that you are able to hit a high pitch. "
