Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to teach you how to be a switch hitter. In this segment we're going to talk about feet position on the right side of the plate. Now we want to hold our feet wide apart wide enough so you are able to have some nice balance. If you go too far wide, you will loose power in your swing. The first step from the right side after you hold your bat up is to step forward that is the first step. The second step is it's called the term call squashing the bug when we turn our foot our back foot 45 degrees at an angle like this keeping the weight back here. Before the swing is actually taken then the hips go through and the hands go through for the swing."
