Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to teach you how to be a switch hitter. In this segment we're going to describe feet position from the left side of the plate. Now like the right side your front foot will be your right. As you hold up your hands, the first step is with your right foot forward just enough so you don't loose any power so you are still balanced. The second step is the term squashing the bug with your back leg. Your back foot tilted at 45 degrees outwards like this. Having the weight on the back leg now as you turn the hips forward, the hands will go through and you should be able to find your swing from where your feet is planted. "
