"Hi, my name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to teach you how to be a switch hitter. In this segment we're going to talk about back grip from the left side. You definitely want your control hand to be the right hand and the power hand above aligning the knuckles as so. Doing so once again it's easier to snap the wrist as you go through the zone on your swing. Aligning your knuckles like this will cause your swing to roll over and having an effectively swing. It's very important in order to have that snap in your wrist that these knuckles are align as oppose to these knuckles are align. If you have trouble catching up to a fastball we just use this same grip we just move the bat up slightly to get more control, that is called choking up."
