"Hi, my name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village. In this segment I'm going to teach you how to be a switch hitter. In this segment we're going to talk about the advantages of being a right hand batter when being a switch hitter. When you are facing a left handed pitcher you definitely want to stand on the right side but probably the one advantage that you might have is that you are able to see more effectively from the right side the pitchers right angle and the release point as the ball is turning towards you. To pick up the ball much more effectively from the right side as oppose to the left because the ball will be angling towards you as oppose to the left side you might be angling away from you."
