"Hi, I'm Juan Carlos with Expert Village. Today I'm going to teach you how to slide. In this segment we want to talk about the position of your legs when sliding to a base. Now as you're coming towards the base and as you begin to go down, you want to be able to make a figure four. AS you're coming down, you want to be able to hit this figure four making sure that your knee is well protected and your extended with the other foot. It doesn't matter which leg you would like to extend with as long as you feel comfortable and doing so on the slide. As you tuck in your leg with for example with me right leg, it's very very important that your ankle or cleat does not get caught on the ground as you're making that tucking for the slide because a serious injury can occur such as a broken ankle or a broken foot."
