"Hello, my name is Adrian Arceo and now we're going to talk about the responsibilities of the third base coach when you have multiple runners on base. Now, let's say for example: you have bases loaded. Now, of course, the guy on first base is the responsibility of the first base coach, but as a third base coach you're responsible for the guy not only on third base, but also the guy on second base. So, you have to be sure to communicate with both of them before the pitch is thrown, that way they know what to do and how to react when there's the next play. So, as soon as he gets the hit, the guy on third base let him know that he has to go and then you pick up the guy from second base, let him know hey, hey, stop, stop right here or let him, give him the windmill and let him know that he's going to score from second base. Now, let's say for example: you only have a guy on second and third base. Now, both of those guys are your responsibility, again you have to communicate with them before the pitch is even thrown that way they know what to do beforehand. So, again we have first and third, the ball gets hit, you let your guy on third base know what he has to do, once he goes past you, you pick up the guy from first base and you've got to give him some type of instruction. Either holds him, tell him to go, tell him to slide, but make sure that you let him know what's going to happen. Now, it's important to remember that as a third base coach, you have to give them a lot of information because as their running towards you, they're actually losing sight of the entire plate. Now, these are some of the things you have to think about when you're a third base coach and you have multiple runners on base."
