"All right, another shot that you might want to try in your arsenal. Maybe not for you young kids, keep it to the wrist shot and the snap shot, but as you get older you can definitely try the slap shot. It's a great shot. A lot of defensemen use it. Basically what you're going to do. Same as the wrist shot and snap shot. You're pulling your body weight. You're keeping your hand down halfway, maybe a little bit more, maybe a little less, just preference. You're going to pull it back. Pull the stick all the way up and then follow through. Then you're going to point and all your weight's going to be on your front foot and just point to where you're going to shoot it. Let me show you. I was aiming for the post. That's a slap shot basically. Don't hit the post though. Try and get it in the net. "
