"Ok. First up, we're going to be talking about the actual basic jump roping position to begin with. Every time you start jump roping, you should probably just start with the basic stance. And, what that's going to entail is basically jumping with both feet at once. And, what I try to tell the boxers is only come about an inch off the floor. If your trying to come up too high, you're basically torquing your body. You're just doing more damage than good. You're getting a lot more tired, because you're raising center of gravity. You're raising your body way up too high. So, we just want about an inch off the floor. You're going to try to jump rope with both feet at once, for now. And, then later we'll get into more advanced. Shane's going to help us out with that, with just the basic jump roping moves. And, as you can see he is just coming about an inch off the floor. We're jumping with both feet together. He's got a lot of action in just the wrist versus swinging the arms all over. Giving both feet a workout at the same time. And, there you have the basic jump roping stance. That's good."
