"Hi! I'm Bill Rogan along with Andy and on behalf of Expert Village. On a ground ball, you want to make sure you have your glove out in front of you. If you have your glove here, you get trapped in between your legs, you lose sight of the ball, the ball takes a late hop. You're not going to react as quick, so get down low, head up, get that glove out. Keep the glove down. It's a lot easier to come up on a bad hop than it is to go down on a bad hop. Don't get in the habit of stabbing at the ball. You want to keep your hands nice and loose. Field position. Bring everything in. Every ball in. That's how I field it with one hand, but you want to get 2 hands all the time. Ball below your waist, feel to the glove up. Anything above the waist, you want to feel with the glove turned this way. If you have the glove turned this way above your waist, you're going to make an error. If you have the glove turned this way on a ball below your waist, you're probably going to make an error as well. Let the ball funnel into your glove. Bring everything in. "
