"Hi, I'm Billy Kidd, here at Expert Village and we're going to talk about the nickel defense. If you're playing a cover two, you can get people sliding over here to make a different type of coverage and then to allow you to zone underneath and cover over the top with two safeties. When you do that you slid a person out just enough to where it might give you enough angles and enough numbers offensively to run the ball back away from the trip receivers. So that's one thing that is on a nickel front that you'd have to watch out for to make sure that you don't reposition yourself in a way or let the offense dictate how you're going to position yourself to give them the advantage with numbers and to be able to have success running the ball. "
